SNME, ECW, Summerslam, and more
This past weeks Saturday Nights Main Event was pretty good, exceptionally better then the last one. I thought the Hogan/Orton build up for Summerslam was excellent and how they are incorporating Brooke Hogan in the storyline. I thought the ECW match absolutely sucked but what else is new. I enjoyed the 6-man tag and the DX-Spirit Squad match. Good stuff. I thought the title match could have been a little bit better but who can complain…
So ECW last week was decent because of the Flair/Big Show match…However ECW is no longer ECW. Its just WWE Extreme. Thats what I am calling it. What a crock having to bring Taker and Flair just to get rating. I’ll say it again. Get rid of all non-ECW people that werent there in the past. Bring back all the old guys who made it big and run with it as the original product. Otherwise you can kiss it goodbye and let TNA dominate.
Summerslam is going to be good this year…I can see it now. I think Batista will get his title back. Edge will lose the title but not to Cena. DX vs. the McMahons, and Legend vs. Legend Killer. Summerslam could be the best PPV of the year, other then Mania.

It should be interesting to hear about the Mattson vs. Thriller match. Both great athleates in their own right so it should be good. Other people I would to see in the Glory cup tournament are Bull Wheeler, Jeff King, Truth Martini, Xavier Justice, Adam Renolds, Josh Abercrombie and Zach Gowen.
Also Hybrid Pro Wrestling is back in two weeks from Friday and its shaping up to be good.
August 4th & 5th – Back to Back Shows!
The HPW Television Title Tournament will take place Friday night, August 4th from the Ken Krum Center (519 Clay St.) in Schoolcraft, MI! Already qualified for this tournament from HPW are Keith Creme, Adam Renolds, Josh Abercrombie, and Trik Davis. Two other big matches are already announced, as the Tag Team Titles will be on the line when #1 Contenders, Josh Movado and Bubba Mackenzie of The BNU All American Beatdown Crew take on the champions, “The Hype” Jimmy Shalwin and “GameBoy” Max Morrison, Popular Electronics. Also on this historic night, CJ Otis puts the HPW Championship up for grabs against “The Old Timer” Jeff King in possibly the most interesting Hybrid Pro Wrestling match-up to date.
The following afternoon, Saturday, August 5th, HPW will host a TV Taping, with many great matches that will air on TV as well as right here 24/7 on our website. That very same evening, Hybrid Pro Wrestling will present another big event from the same location as the TV Taping. If present, the HPW Championship will be defended that night, as well as the HPW Tag Team Titles. Last, but certainly not least, the new HPW Television Title will be on the line for the very first time. It’s entirely possible that all three HPW Titles will be on the line for the first time ever on one big event! Check back within the next week for more details on the locations of these two days of fantastic wrestling action!
