NFL Week 5 Recap, MLB Playoffs, WWE No Mercy, WWE Cyber Sunday and more
Well week five of the NFL season has come and gone…And yes the Lions are still pathetic. However their were some upsets this week. Miami over San Diego and Atlanta over Green Bay. In terms of my football pool that I am in some teams are hard to read. You never know what they are going to do from one week to the next. My Carolina Panthers killed the Chiefs Sunday which put them at 4-1 which I am excited about. A lot of people are overlooking Carolina which in a way makes me happy because no one is giving them a shot to go all the way. The Tennassee Titans are still undefeated and so are the New York Giants. Crazy how the world works.
Now on to the Baseball playoffs. If you know me, you’d know I always have had this theory that sports are scripted. Think about this scenario. What best benefit baseball this in the World Series? The Los Angelas Dodgers vs. The Boston Red Sox. Manny Ramieriz vs. his old team and Joe Torre once again managing against an old rival. It’s the perfect storyline and the perfect money-maker for Major League Baseball…If it does happen then my theory is freaking right. If not, I’ll layoff my theory for awhile. This is not the only example of my theory. If you want more then I can give you examples. I am looking foward to seeing the Dodgers and Red Sox in the World Series.
This past Sunday was WWE No Mercy. I would give it a 6 out of 10. It was solid but not spectactular by any means but the WWE Title Match between Jeff Hardy and Triple H was freaking great. Hardy looked like he was going to win but HHH outsmarted him. Good stuff. Then World Champion Chris Jericho defend his title against Shawn Michaels in Ladder Match. It wasn’t a classic match, it was a classic brawl. Shawn Michaels seemingly had it won but Jericho prevailed. Jericho also lost a tooth from the match. It was ugly. It was a match I’ll remember for a long time. It made the Pay-per-view worth seeing.
On to the next WWE PPV, Cyber Sunday. The only interactive PPV where fans choose the stipulations or opponents. It’s already looking huge. Here is the matches so far:

Options are: Goldust, the Honky Tonk Man and Rowdy Roddy Piper. I know who I am voting for
Next is World Champion Chris Jericho vs. Batista with the fans vote for special guest referee.
Options are: Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. I know who I am voting for as well there.
More matches to be announced soon and I will post them. I am excited for this PPV because Legends are returning.
I got a kick this past weekend watching Kimbo Slice get knocked out in 14 seconds. Finally maybe people will listen to me realize he’s freaking overrated. He has no skills what so ever. The other sad part is Shamrock is not even the one who fought him. Some UFC guy I never heard of beat him down. I love it.
Lastly, I am so glad O.J. Simpson was finally convicted and hopefully sentenced to life in prison. It’s thirteen years in the making. The idiot gets what he deserves. Thank you for letting justice prevail finally. On that note, I am out. Have a good week. I’ll be back next week. God Bless
