Has Mickey Rourke pulled out of Wrestlemania 25?

The associated press is reporting that Mickey Rourke has pulled out of Wrestlemania. His publicist told the AP that he is entirely focused on acting career. This came a day or two after rumors started swirling that if he did Wrestlemania he would probably not win an Oscar. With that being said I see this situation going to ways because you know WWE will capitalize on this.

Situation One, Rourke waits until the Oscars are over and then says he is doing Wrestlemania 25 and has no regrets about doing so. You have to believe that he said he wasn’t doing it to protect his Oscar chances. He knows being involved WM 25 will give him a lot of press because Wrestlemania 25 is already shaping up to simply spectactular.

Situation Two, is Rourke is completely out and Jericho calls out anyone from Hollywood to fight him. I see this going one way. It will be a wrestler who has made a movie or movies and here’s the list:
Roddy Piper
Hulk Hogan
Jesse Ventura
Terry Funk
Zeus
Big Show
The Great Khali
Steve Austin
Nathan Jones
And theres many more so take your pick. Mark my words if Rourke doesn’t show Jericho will have a confrontation or match with someone on the list. To me it’s a win-win situation for WWE and Wrestlemania. Only time will tell as to what is going to happen so stay tuned
