A High School Athlete’s Choice
The other night, I was asked a very interesting question while I was College Football. The question was if I was the top running back or wide receiver in high school and I got offers to go to USC of U of M where would I go? At this point in time I would say USC. USC puts themselves in contention every year to go to the BCS Championship Game. And if they are not in that they are in the Rose Bowl in which they usually win.
If you would if asked me that question 10 years ago I would have picked U of M, because back then they did put themselves in contention to win every year and always had great team. A lot of great players have come out of both schools, but right now USC would be the place I would go to if I was in that situation. Ask me 5 years from now and I might just say Michigan.
Now, if I weren’t limited to the two colleges I would go to Oklahoma, Boomer Sooners, baby. I think they are a great school with a lot of qualities. I personally enjoy watching Sam Bradford play and I think he will do successful in the NFL. Someone pointed out to me that people take their football more seriously then people up north do. I find that to be true in most cases. Look at teams like Alabama, LSU, The Gators, the The Sooners, Texas, Texas Tech. They all take football very seriously down there. It shows when they recruit, they play and win they win. I would like to know where you would go if you options to choose from.
Oklahoma sucks. Always have. Always will. Oklahoma is a bunch of cheaters.
Oklahoma sucks. How do I know this? Oklahoma’s suction is what keeps Texas from sliding into the sea.
