What about DeAngelo Williams?

With all these awards and accollades being given out the last week or two, my main question is What About Deangelo Williams? Now, I might be a little biased because I am a Panthers fan but look at his stats this year:

20 Touchdowns (18 Rushing, 2 Recieving). The most in the NFL by any one player. The second closest is 17. He also ran for 1515 yards with an average 94.4 yards a game. He was only 245 yards behind the leader. The other two ahead of him were Michael Turner who had 17 touchdowns and 1699 yards rushing and Adrian Peterson who has 1760 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

Not to mention the Panthers are the seconded seeded team in the NFC, and the team record for which you play on and how far you make it to the playoffs should be a major factor of who gets these awards, not popularity!

Williams was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for December. He rushed for 560 yards and seven touchdowns in the month. to my knowledge that’s the only award he has had this year. He wasn’t named All-Pro, All-Madden or to the NFC Pro Bowl Team (Although he was named the first alternate) I think it’s ridiculious. Panther fans should be outraged and disgusted. I know I am.
