Howard, Roberston and….Cook steal the show.
Last night was All-Star Saturday Night in the NBA. And it was awesome to see Dwight Howard and Nate Robertson square off in the finals of the Dunk Contest. They did some crazy stuff, maybe not as crazy as the last two years but crazy enough. Then you had the Three-Point Shootout and a surprising new face won it..Daequan Cook from the Miami Heat. Never heard of this guy, but I guess I have heard of him now. He was impressive in the shootout beating Mike Bibby, Danny Granger, Jason Kapono, Rashard Lewis and Roger Mason.
These young guys performances are really putting the pressure on the superstars to start participating again, even so much that Lebron James said he would be in the Slam Dunk Contest next year in Dallas. Please Lebron, please do it because it would send a message to all the other guys like Kobe, Vince Carter and others to get back into it.
I was definitely pumped up after watching it last night. The All-Star Game is on tonight and it should be a good and entertaining game. Have a great day. I know I will, it’s a busy day in sports. God Bless you all.
