The Expendables features Actors, Athletes and Stars

There is a movie coming out in 2010 called the The Expendables. The Expendables follows a team of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a South American dictator. So far this is what the cast looks like:

Sylvester Stallone, Forest Whitaker, Eric Roberts, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Randy Couture, Dolph Lungdren, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mickey Rourke, and Steve Austin.

Now why would I post about this?, because most of these guys have been in a sports/wrestling movie or are a athlete or wrestler.

Sylvester Stallone- Played the boxer Rocky Balboa.
Randy Couture- Former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion
Eric Roberts- Was in the movie Best of the Best.
Mickey Rourke- Played Randy the Ram in the Wrestler.
Dolph Lungdren- Played Ivan Drago in Rocky 4.
Stone Cold Steve Austin- Enough said, I don’t need to say anymore.

This movie sounds really good, and all of these guys will have to put on a performance of a life time for this movie to be great. I mean I know it’s a year away but I am already excited for this movie. Only two words come to mind when I think about this movie…Star Power. And not to mention it’s probably going to make a lot of money because wrestling fans will want to see Stone Cold, UFC fans will want to see Couture, and all the other actors have their own die hard fans. It’s going to be great to see this film unfold and come to life. I definitely plan on keep up with all the news about this film. Well if I hear anymore, I will certainly post it.
