The Son of Perfection wins FCW Heavyweight Title.
This past Thursday at the Florida Championship Wrestling television taping a new FCW Heavyweight Champion was crowned. He is the son of legendary WWE Hall of Famer, “Mr Perfect” Curt Hennig. Joe Hennig is the new FCW Heavyweight Champion Holding the FCW Title means one thing. It means you are ready for the main roster of the WWE. Earlier this month, I read an issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated that named Joe Hennig the 2008 Rookie of the Year. This guy has a bright future ahead of him and look forward to seeing him on TV soon.
Curt Hennig was one of my favorite wrestlers growing up. He was cocky, arrogant, athletic and charismatic. He was everything I wanted to be because he that good, or maybe because he was that perfect. When I first found out Joe Hennig was going to be in pro wrestling I got really excited because I am fan of 2nd and 3rd generation wrestlers like Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase, DH Smith, and Umaga. Joe Hennig has instantly become one of my favorites and he is not even on TV yet. All I can say is thank God for the internet so I am able to watch his matches on a weekly basis from FCW.
Mark my words on this, Joe Hennig will be on WWE TV and will win a title by the end of 2009. He is just as good as his father and grandfather. And like his father, Joe Hennig will be absolutely perfect.
