Syracuse-UConn have a MSG Classic

Last night in Madison Square Garden, Syracuse beat UConn in one of the most classic games that I have ever watched since I’ve been alive. They didn’t just have one overtime, they had six overtimes. Both teams in my mind walked out as winners. Actually, the real winners were the fans in attendance. This game was back and forth, there was really no one dominating the game.

I would really love to see these two teams square off again. It was just one of those magical nights that probably won’t be replicated anytime soon. MSG has had some classic games and events but that one last ranks right up there with the best of them.

If this is a sign of things to come, the 64 team tournament, known as March Madness is going to be awesome. I really don’t follow College Basketball much, but after last night, I might be a little bit more interested in watching it. I’ll be curious to see how Syracuse and UConn do in the tournament this year. I know I’ll be watching, will you be?
