WBBL now on FM Radio

My favorite sports channel, WBBL 1340 has a new home and it’s on FM radio. It’s now on 107.3, the former station of KLQ. A lot of people are upset about this because KLQ was the premier hard rock station in West Michigan. I understand why the listeners are upset because their are not many hard rock radio stations out there, especially in West Michigan. However I think having sports radio on FM is awesome because it allows people to listen to the games when they don’t have a TV in front of them. As we all know AM radio stations have crappy sound and don’t get the best reception sometimes.

Studies have also showed that the numbers for KLQ have dropped off significantly and that the numbers for WBBL have increased. People love talking about sports and people love hearing about sports. It doesn’t seem fair but whats done is done. 107.3 is now WBBL, ESPN radio, On the Bench, Huge Show and yes even Jim Rome. It should be interesting to see how they do. I am looking forward to it.
