CWM August Afteshock Results

CWM August Aftershock
August 16th, 2009
Latvian Hall in Grand Rapids, MI
Reported by “Hollywood” Joe Williamson

The show started with Jack Verville taking on the bigger Sebastian Rose. Rose dominated the match with his power and his shear size advantage but in the end Verville pulled out the victory by getting Rose in a small package. After the match was over Rose took the referees belt off and started whipping Verville.

Deuce Diamond returned to the CWM be defeating Jemini Taylor who made his CWM singles debut.

Up next was Kris Korvis who took on the Martial Arts expert Louis Linden. This match was back and forth and potentially could be match of the year candidate in CWM for 2009. Korvis defeated Louis Linden but the victory came with controversy. Korvis had his feet on the ropes getting the victory in his CWM Debut

Noah Lott came out to the ring and told the fans how he didn’t choose Scott EZ as his partner. He went on to say that he does not like EZ, does not consider him a friend or partner. Noah Lott said he was just in it for the belt and being a champion. Before Scott EZ came out it almost seemed like it would be a 3 on 1 handicap match between the Canadian Hit Squad and Noah Lott against EZ. However Noah Lott started the match and was isolated by the Hit Squad for most of the match. Eventually when Noah Lott tagged in his partner, Scott EZ cleaned house and made John Campbell pass out with a modified Cobra Clutch. As the fans cheered Scott EZ, Noah Lott was not impressed or amused.

The Television title match was next with champion T-D defending against Jeff Brooks. This was another highly competitive match which saw the 10 minute time limit expire. T-D wasn’t satisfied with his victory so he has asked for five more minutes. Commissioner Paco Zimmer came out and said go for it. It took T-D a mere 10 seconds after the bell rang to defeat Jeff Brooks.

Next up was the main event of the evening. King LeoTitus (formerly known as “Too Tough” Tommy Titus) came out and compared himself to the great Spartan Warriors from long ago and said that no one can stop him. Paco Zimmer then came out and told LeoTitus that he was sick of the lying, cheating, swerving and stealing. The commissioner went on to say he had an opponent for the King who just as ruthless as he was. He then brought out Alcatraz and removed his chains. The monster was unleashed and it was an all out brawl for a good portion of the match. Alcatraz took a lot of damage to his leg but kept coming back. Sensing all of this LeoTitus shoved the referee down but so did Alcatraz after the ref didn’t count 3. The match ended in double disqualification and LeoTitus escaped with the CWM Heavyweight Title. Alcatraz said he was not finished with LeoTitus and asked the crowd if they wanted more. Commissioner Zimmer they would get more on September 13th and the CWM Heavyweight Title would be defended in a No-Disqualification match.

The next show is scheduled for September 13th and one has to wonder the following:
-Who is next in line for T-D’s TV Title?
-Can Noah Lott and Scott EZ continue to coexist as Tag Team champions?
-What’s next for Sebastian Rose, Jack Verville, Kris Korvis and Louis Linden?
-Who is next in line for the CWM Tag Team Titles?
-Will LeoTitus be able to escape the wrath of Alcatraz?
