Another Classic College Football Game and More

Last week Notre Dame was on the losing end of a great and close football game. This week the roles were reversed. Notre Dame battled MSU in a great game today that helped Notre Dame get back on track and MSU possible on a downward spiral. Even though I am not a Notre Dame fan it is great to see the historical school play in some meaningful and close games. The program hasn’t done all that great in years so its nice to see them be competitive.

I saw some surprising things this afternoon in football. For example Washington upsetting USC and Oklahoma dominating again without my favorite Quarterback Sam Bradford. You also had Florida who only score 23 points in their win against Tennessee. Florida St absolutely crushed the overrated BYU team. Yes I said it, I think BYU is overrated. So they beat Oklahoma by three points. One win doesn’t prove anything. Then again neither does one loss but that doesn’t mean BYU is going to live up to the hype. In SEC play Georgia beat Arkansas in one thrilling game that saw a lot of turnovers and penalties. For some reason when I turned the TV on tonight I had a feeling I wouldn’t regret watching this game. Georgia wins the game 52-41. In another surprising game Texas barely escapes against Texas Tech. What a battle between these two teams as well. Another great weekend for College Football game.

Finally I would just like to say 3-0, because that’s what Michigan is at the end of the day today. All the doubters said they wouldn’t beat Notre Dame or even have a winning record this year. If they keep up this pace they will actually play in a good bowl game this year. Stay tuned for next week because their are a few good match ups again including:

No. 24 North Carolina at No. 14 Georgia Tech
Texas Tech at No. 21 Houston
Notre Dame at Purdue
No. 20 Miami (FL) at No. 13 Virginia Tech
Michigan State at Wisconsin

I’ll be back next with some more College Football and hopefully we will continue to see some exciting games this year.
