Jake Peavy is Back

Tonight I watched the Tigers game against the White Sox and I must say that Jake Peavy was impressive tonight. He hasn’t pitched in a long time and to see him dominate Tigers hitting tonight was actually great to see because he was a great pitcher in San Diego but never had a winning team to back him up. Now that he is with the White Sox he might have a chance at winning a World Series. I believe that the White Sox will be back in the hunt next year. They will have Peavy, Buehrle and a healthy Freddy Garcia. To me that’s three pitchers I would not want to face three nights in a row.

If you ask me if it weren’t for injuries the White Sox would be at the top of the AL Central this year blazing through Detroit and Minnesota. Next year with good pitching and a good lineup they will be the team to beat in the AL Central. Like I said they were injury plagued this year and that’s why they have struggled. It’s great to see Jake Peavy back pitching once again.
