UFC 2009 Undisputed Review

Yesterday I finally got play more then one fight on UFC’s Undisputed and I have to tell you it was freaking sick. I went to Play n Trade in Grand Rapids Michigan to go play the game because they are cool there and let you play any game you want. Anyways back to the UFC game. I played four fights in different weight classes. I played as Brock Lesnar against Antonio Nogueira. Then for my second match I played as Forrest Griffin vs. Michael Bisping. I think this would be a great match if they fought and that’s why I had the match on the game. Bisping and Griffin are both tough dudes and I think people would love to see a fight between them. In the third match I played as Diego Sanchez vs BJ Penn. I cannot stand BJ Penn and I hope what I did on the game happens at UFC 107 and that would be Sanchez choking Penn out. In my final match I played as Rich Franklin against Chris Leben because Rich and Chris are two of my favorite guys in the UFC and sometimes don’t get a lot of credit.

This game is dead accurate to how UFC really his. The graphics are phenomenal as well as the actual presentation. Joe Rogan, Mike Goldberg and Bruce Buffer all sound exactly like they do on TV. Dana White is also in the game to and they got his personality accurate too. The striking and grappling in the game is surreal that you almost feel like you’re in the fight yourself. I’ll say this much right now when I get a PS3 this will be first game I buy because this game is just absolutely awesome. If you haven’t played it yet go out and rent it, buy it or go to Play N Trade on the East Beltline in Grand Rapids and go play it. As Bruce Buffer would say “It’s time!” Well it’s time for all of you to go out and play this game.

  1. word. I bought this game a few weeks ago, unrented and unplayed, just because of the good things I heard, and they were all true. I still get destroyed on my back with a dude sittin on my chest, but I can always whip out a knockout roundhouse kick or muy thai knee to the face! Career mode is short though, and your fighters age never changes which I thought was obvious, but other than that its a kickass game.

  2. UFC = Ultimate Flamer Channel

Seriously, oily men muscles, speedo's, wrestling around on the floor with sweat everywhere… Sounds pretty homosexual to me…

  3. "Not that there is anything wrong with that"

By the way – Week 3 Fantasy Prediction

  4. Controversy doesn't come without criticism Hollywood….isn't that your line? I'm just expressing the thoughts and feelings of some of the UFC haters out there. If you can't handle it, go home!@!
