Shane McMahon Resigns from WWE
In a shocking announcement Shane McMahon, the WWE’s Executive Vice President, Global Media has decided to resign effective January 1, 2010. I am shocked at this and wonders why Shane would leave a company that his father and grandfather built up for him to run someday. Shane McMahon has been huge part in WWE’s success over the years. He has also been great for TV. If you have ever seen a Shane McMahon match you walked thinking, he’s crazy. He’s feuded with some of the greats in this business including Randy Orton and The Legacy, D-Generation X, Kurt Angle and more. He had some crazy matches with Test and Steve Blackman and he also held the Hardcore Championship and the European Championship. I will never forget the match he had with father Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania 17. It was actually one of the best matches I’ve seen with the McMahon’s involved.
Shane McMahon can take a lot of credit for making WWE the global phenomenon that it is today. He was always traveling trying to promote the WWE in different countries and helping getting them on TV in other countries. So why is Shane deciding to leave? Here is my answer and my opinion on that. I think he realizes wrestling can’t get any higher then it is now. Wrestling reached it’s last highpoint in 2001. Ever since WCW was bought out in 2001 wrestling has never been the same. Wrestling use to be cutting edge, expect the unexpected and it wasn’t repetitive. They were always doing new things and kept you on the edge of their seat. WWE and pro wrestling are not like that anymore. I think Shane see all of this and decided to pursue something else. Wouldn’t it be interesting if he went to the UFC? He’s been seen at their events many times and is a big fan of it. Whatever Shane does I know he will be successful. I mean come on he’s a McMahon. It will be very hard to replace Shane and his presence in the WWE. I wish nothing but the best for Shane McMahon and hope someday he might come back to the WWE. To who ever gets Shane in their company all I got to say is “Here Comes the Money.”
Shane is the biggest dumb-ass I've ever seen… He did noting for the WWE besides contribute to it's downfall. Everybody knows that he's daddy's boy, it's about time he grows up and gets out of Vince's shadow. But, unfortunately for him, he will not be successful anywhere else because he is such an idiot and he doesn't have Vince to fall back on now…
Good Luck Shane…. Just remember you or any of your other McMahon's will never compare to the greatest McMahon of all time – Legendary Bears QB Jim McMahon!!!
Okay first you goofball, Jim McMahon is not even a relation to the WWE McMahon family.
Secondly Jim McMahon only had one great year of football if you ask me.
Finally, Shane is a smart business man who will be successful wherever he goes. The McMahon Family is a dynasty just like their company the WWE.
