Big Royal Rumble Matches Announced

The Royal Rumble is two weeks from this Sunday and some big matches are currently on the horizon.Last night Ezekiel Jackson won a 8-man Battle Royal to become the number one contender to ECW Champion Christian. This is the first time Jackson will be in a title match of any kind but has the power to take the ECW Title away from Christian. Christian needs to be off of ECW and on Raw or Smackdown. ECW needs to put that title on younger talent and start pushing them. I like Christian but he needs to be working with bigger name guys. WWE needs to figure that one out really quick.

On Monday Night Raw Randy Orton earned a title shot against Sheamus which doesn’t make any sense to me at all. Why they would put two heels against each other is beyond me. However I have noticed a lot more Randy chants lately so maybe he’s turning into a good guy again. To me that would suck because he is so much better as a bad guy. I cannot wait for this match because of how crazy both men are.

Then at last nights Smackdown taping Rey Mysterio defeated Batista to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Rey and Taker have only fought one time in a one on one match and that was way back in 2003. I think this will be a great match because of the two totally different styles that both men possess.

You also have the Royal Rumble match itself, and as of right now no participants have been officially announced which irks me because I’d like to know who is in it so I can start to analyze who might win the whole thing. The Royal Rumble is January 31st on PPV with an 8pm start time. Check back the week of the Royal Rumble with my predictions. It’s time to Rumble, it’s time for the Royal Rumble.

  1. Here would be the greatest Royal Rumble final of all time:
    Hogan
    Hart
    Flair
It's just too bad that these guys are retired and they're hayday was back in the 80's…
Wait, they are still wrestling now?? Arn't they like 70 years old each?? How is it that not one of these guys have broken a hip or something already? Can you say "roids"?
    Wrestling is a joke.

  2. Lets see Hogan had a broken hip, Flair had a broken back and Hart just a major concussion. That would be a great finale to a Royal Rumble though if they were all still in their prime.
