ECW Invading TNA

Back in the 90’s the company who did the most to change wrestling, but got little recognition is coming back. Well not really coming back but some of the men who were part of that company are. This past Sunday at TNA Slammiversary Tommy Dreamer appeared in the crowd which can only mean one thing. The return of ECW and the return of Hardcore. Now before you read any further, this next part contains spoilers for this coming weeks Impact.

This coming week Raven, Stevie Richards and Tommy Dreamer all appear together in the crowd. Abyss tells Hogan that “they” are telling him to bring the violence like he did the week before when he destroyed Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy. Put it all together and you have the return of the old ECW.

Now don’t get confused with the WWE’s version of ECW because that’s not the same. The original ECW was hardcore, violent, anything goes and it was extremly passionate about wrestling. WWE’s version didn’t even come close to any of that.

So all I got to say is stay tuned because the Era of Hardcore is going to return. ECW! ECW! ECW!
