Couture and Edgar Dominate at UFC 118

Well I hope boxers and boxing fans learned their lesson last night. Don’t ever talk trash before an MMA fight ecspecially if you have never been in an MMA fight. James Toney learned the hard way last night. Randy Couture choked out Toney at about 3 minutes of the first round proving an MMA fighter doesn’t stand around and get hit like a punching bag. Hopefully these crazy boxing fans will shut up once and for all.

As for all the critics who said that Frankie Edgar’s first win over BJ Penn was a fluke, guess again. Edgar won by unanmious decision and dominated Penn. Think I am exaggerating, read Penn’s postfight comments. I think Frankie Edgar is the future of the Lightweight Division. He has been beating some tough guys and made his way to the top. I look forward to seeing who is next for Frankie Edgar.

Light Heavyweight bout: Antônio Rogério Nogueira vs. Ryan Bader

UFC 121
Heavyweight Championship bout: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Cain Velasquez
Welterweight bout: Jake Shields vs. Martin Kampmann
Welterweight bout: Diego Sanchez vs. Paulo Thiago
Light Heavyweight bout: Tito Ortiz vs. Matt Hamill
Heavyweight bout: Brendan Schaub vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
