Cincinnati Reds signed free agent LHP Dontrelle Willis.
San Francisco Giants signed free agent 1B Aubrey Huff.
Philadelphia Phillies signed free agent RHP Eddie Bonine.
Detroit Tigers signed free agent RHP Joaquin Benoit.
Texas Rangers signed free agent 2B Esteban German.

Although it’s not official the Detroit Tigers have also signed Victor Martinez to a four year, $50 million dollar deal. It should also be noted that Derek Jeter and the Yankees cannot agree on a price for his new contract at this time. GM Brian Cashman has told Jeter to test the market and see what he might get. It would be very hard to see Jeter in another uniform other pinstripes. Stay tuned for more on this developing situation.
