Thoughts on Lebron James to Miami and More
Well it’s a been awhile since I’ve last posted, but now I actually have something to write about once again. After eight days of spectulation, Lebron James finally made his decision. He is going down to South Beach to play for the Miami Heat next season. He now joins Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade as probably one of the deadliest trio’s to ever hit the hardwood of a basketball court.
A lot of people are already saying that Miami is already the front runner to win the NBA Championship. However people are forgetting that other teams have made moves. Here is what some of the other teams have done.
Chicago Bulls signed Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver
New York Knicks signed Amare Stoduimire and Raymond Felton
Orlando Magic signed Chris Duhon
Phoenix Suns re-signed Channing Frye and signed Hakim Warrick.
Boston Celtics signed Jermaine O’Neal
Even though Miami has got three of the biggest stars, these other teams have filled pieces to make their teams stronger. Miami doesn’t not have the depth on their bench that a Boston, or Orlando have. It should be an interesting season this coming season.
As for the city of Cleveland, I do feel extremely bad for them. They are hurt, angered and upset by what their former hero has done. I don’t blame Lebron for wanting to win but the way he has gone about it is all wrong. He dragged it on a lot longer then it should have been. I believe the Cavaliers are going to be hurting for a long time over this.
There is a lot of backlash in Cleveland from the fans, and owner Dan Gilbert. The last thing I would like to say, is remember the 2003-04 L.A. Lakers when they had all those ego’s. They lost in the finals, and everyone went their own way. Or you can remember the Boston Celtics from two years ago. They put their ego’s aside and won a championship. Which will happen? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more.
Don't Noah Lott do ya Joey?
