NBA All Star Starters Announced and more

The fans have spoken for the NBA All Star game and they did a good job except for one player who does not deserve to be there in my opinion. Here is how the fans decided to vote.

Western Conference

Guard Steve Nash
Guard Kobe Bryant
Forward Carmelo Anthony
Forward Tim Duncan
Center Amar’e Stoudemire

Eastern Conference

Guard Allen Iverson
Guard Dwyane Wade
Forward LeBron James
Forward Kevin Garnett
Center Dwight Howard

The fact that Allen Iverson got in is just ridiculous. They are like 10 better players that should have gotten over him. I think the honorable thing to do would be to give up his spot to someone more deserving. The Coaches will announce the reserves next week and hopefully I’ll see someone for Detroit on there. The All Star game is in Dallas and takes place February 14th on TNT. There is also a whole list of other events taking place leading up to the game which should make it exciting to watch. 1. How can you say that there are more deserving players than Iverson to play in the All-Star game… That's ridiculous – what, like Iverson has done nothing in this league – he made this league in the post Jordan era before Kobe and LaBron took over. The NBA has blacklisted Iverson this year for some reason and all he wants to do is play ball – and he is still a top tier player in the league but he's been injured. The least he deserves is admiration from the NBA fans that want to see him play in the game – after all, they did vote him in.. Who cares if there are guys playing a little better than he is right at the moment – give the guy a little respect for what he has accomplished in this league!

  2. Fish I am not saying Allen Iverson is a bad player at all, but this year he has not done anything. Like I said I could think of a few guys who deserve to go more. A.I. was a great player and did a lot of great things as a player.
