Shawne Merriman Update

Shawne Merriman says he was trying to help Tila Tequila get transportation so she could leave his house. There was a disturbance call late Saturday night and police showed up to Merriman’s house. She filed a citizens arrest but no charges were filed. It should be known that Tila was intoxicated and authorities did not find any injuries on her. It was also reported that Tila is not his girlfriend, they are just acquaintances. So you have to wonder if Merriman is actually innocent and was just trying to help her? If so then a lot of people owe him an apology for assuming the worst about him. I admit that when I first heard about it that I jumped to conclusions. Hopefully he is innocent because the Chargers need his presence on the field. He is the heart of their defense and makes them go. Keep checking back for further updates on this situation.
