Tito Ortiz returning to UFC? and more

According to Dana White’s Twitter page, he and Tito Ortiz made up and buried the hatchet so to speak. So could this mean a return to the UFC. Ortiz also confirmed that he and Dana White buried the hatchet. The last time we saw Ortiz in the UFC was May 24th 2008.

He’s had classic battles with Ken Shamrock, Forrest Griffin, Chuck Liddell, and Wanderlei Silva. I have always liked Tito Ortiz, and it would be nice to see Jenna Jameson back in the crowd again. It is now rumored that Ortiz will make is return at UFC 103 in September to fight Rich Franklin. Speaking of UFC 103 and 104 Here are some notable match ups for both pay-per-views.

Welterweight bout: Josh Koscheck vs. Frank Trigg (UFC 103)
Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Lyoto Machida (c) vs. Mauricio Rua (UFC 104)
Heavyweight bout: Shane Carwin vs. Cain Velasquez (UFC 104)

Ortiz returning would be huge because he has a following and a huge fan base. I always enjoyed watching him kick the crap out of Ken Shamrock. The Huntington Beach Bad Boy could be back and he might just be better then ever. Can Ortiz return to his former glory? We will have to wait and see.
