He did a lot a great work for all the NFL Games he was broadcasting. The man is an ICON in every sense of the word. He even has a game named after him that’s been running for a long time, since 1988 actually. He also has appeared on many commercials for Ace Hardware, Outback Steakhouse, Verizon Wireless, Rent-A-Center, Miller Lite, Sirius Satellite Radio and Tinactin. He also made a cameo in the movie Little Giants and The Replacements.
John Madden is synonymous with pro football, and his legacy will never ever be forgotten. His voice will be missed and his analysis of games and teams strengths and weaknesses will never be duplicated again. Thank you John Madden for being one of the greatest sports announcers of all time.
