Tigers Starting Rotation and more

With only a few days left until Tigers Opening day, I was trying to figure out what the Tigers Starting rotation would be like without Bonderman or Robertson in it. So here is what it looks like as of today

1. Justin Verlander
2. Edwin Jackson
3. Armando Galarraga
4. Zach Miner
5. Rick Porcello

That doesn’t look to bad but then again it doesn’t look all that great either. Here is who is all in the bullpen.

Fernando Rodney (CL)
Brandon Lyon
Bobby Seay
Juan Rincon
Eddie Bonine
Randy Perry
Nate Robertson

All I can say is it’s about time that Nate was thrown into the bullpen. He has not done anything since he’s been in Detroit. He’s had a losing record every year he has been with us. The bullpen doesn’t look to bad, even though I’d prefer seeing Brandon Lyon as our closer. Fernando Rodney just scares me every time he is out there. I really don’t know how the Tigers will do this year. They open up the year with a 4 game series in Toronto and I think that will tell us a lot about what to expect. I cannot wait until Monday. Opening game of the year is one of my favorite days of the year. I cannot wait.
