TO ALL THE SMART MARKS-FANS OF WRESTLING
Over the last two days I have read some really stupid stuff as it relates to John Cena and his return. People are wishing death and injury on this guy. That’s so stupid. It’s like wishing injury on Tom Brady, Kobe Bryant and Alex Rodriguez just because you don’t like the Patriots, Lakers or Yankees. Why should they be bashed and criticized? It’s because of jealousy and the fact they have a God given talent that the normal fan doesn’t have.
I never use to be a fan of John Cena, but I respected what he brings to the business. I have however become a Cena fan since I watched the recent DVD that came out about him. I don’t care if he’s not technically sound. Hell Hogan wasn’t and everyone loved him. Don’t sit here and tell they are different because they are not. They both have limited wrestling skill but are great on the microphone and have a great charisma. I like John Cena because of his love and his passion for the business. If people took the time to realize how much love he had for wrestling people would appreciate him more.
The one thing I will say about Cena is his character was better when he was wearing chains and throwbacks and doing the rapping thing. However that got over and they had to turn him into something else which was a superstar who personified blue collar worker who wasn’t savvy but would find a way to win. There is nothing wrong with that type of character. Absolutely nothing at all
Finally, I would like to say this. The internet wrestling fans and so called “SMARKS” ruin wrestling because they take everything so damn serious. It’s a show, its entertainment so if you don’t like someone get the hell over it. You morons do what Vince wants you to do. Why do you think Cena had the title for a year? A true wrestling fan studies the business inside out, and knows the history of the business. I WILL NEVER CONSIDER MYSELF A SMARK OR INTERNET FAN because I have been watching wrestling since I was 3. I have studied the business, I have looked at the history of the business and I talk to people in the business so I can get a better understanding of why they do what they do. All I can say is if you think you can do better than John Cena or any other known wrestler on TV; prove it, back up your words.
